The headline: North Portland neighborhood groups consider resolution against school names that honor slave traders. And that is going to do what for the school's performance? These parents don't have their heads on straight.

See the data from the Oregonian database on two schools named after former slave holders: Jefferson High School; Madison High School. The schools' rather dismal performance has nothing to do with their names. Maybe it has more to do with the irrational and illogical reasoning processes of the parents.
