Heart Attack

The American Heart Association says some heart attack warning signs include both sudden and intense but also some that start slowly, with mild pain.

Chest discomfort.
Discomfort in other areas of the upper body
Shortness of breath
Other signs can include cold sweat, nausea or lightheadedness.

When someone has these symptoms, they need to go to the hospital immediately, or have paramedics respond right away.  These symptoms can happen to one of your partners.  One of your command staff, or even yourself.  If it is one of your partners, put them in your police car and take them code 3 to the nearest trauma center, once you clear it with dispatch.  Heart attacks kill officers every year, don't let it happen on your watch, that's what the SGT Says.
